Terms and Conditions for Butterfly English Education

1. Introduction

Welcome to Butterfly English Education! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services. For any questions, contact us at:

2. Services Provided

Butterfly English Education offers English classes for children, teenagers, and adults. Classes are conducted by our professional teachers using the Classin platform.

3. User Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 4 years and older.
Customers must agree to our cancellation policy outlined below.

4. Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling: Notify us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your class.
No-Shows: Classes missed without prior notice will be considered a no-show, and the class fee will be deducted.
Teacher Rescheduling: Teachers will notify students in advance if a class needs to be rescheduled.
Holidays: If a teacher is on holiday, a substitute teacher will be provided. If you decline the substitute teacher, the class must be rescheduled for another day, not deducted from the next month’s invoice.
Non-Refundable: Classes are non-refundable.

5. Payments

We accept the following payment methods:

Debit/Credit Cards

Payments are required in advance of class scheduling.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Class replays are made available for viewing and downloading via the Classin platform.
Replays are stored for 3 months; after this period, they are deleted.
All materials provided are for personal educational use and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without our permission.

7. Liability

7.1 Disclaimers Regarding Performance of Services

Butterfly English Education strives to provide high-quality English language education through experienced teachers and robust teaching platforms. However, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or levels of improvement, as these depend on various factors, including the student’s engagement and practice outside of class.
Students are responsible for their active participation in classes and completing assigned tasks to achieve desired results. Butterfly English Education is not liable for a lack of progress due to insufficient practice or attendance.

7.2 Limitations of Liability for Technical Failures or Other Circumstances

Butterfly English Education is not responsible for technical difficulties experienced by students, such as poor internet connections, device malfunctions, or third-party platform (Classin) outages. In the event of widespread technical issues on our end, affected classes will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or widespread technical disruptions.
Our classes are conducted using the Classin platform, and we are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by the use of this third-party service.

7.3 General Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Butterfly English Education, its teachers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of our services. In all cases, our total liability will not exceed the fees paid for the service in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain.
